By installing and using the ArtikelStreak iOS app ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What ArtikelStreak is

ArtikelStreak is a daily German-article (der/die/das) memory game. Each day, every player worldwide is given the same 20 words and a 60-second window to identify the correct article for each one. The app also includes a Practice Mode for drilling specific category bundles, statistics tracking, and an optional subscription that unlocks all category bundles and enhanced statistics.

Subscriptions, free trial, and billing

The app is offered with a 3-day free trial. After the trial, your selected plan begins automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Two subscription plans are offered:
- Yearly — billed either as a single payment of US $29.99 per year (or your local equivalent), or as US $2.99 per month for 12 months as a Monthly with 12-Month Commitment plan. Both options provide the same access. The selected billing option is presented by Apple at the time of purchase.
- Weekly — billed at US $4.99 per week (or your local equivalent).
All payments are processed by Apple via your Apple ID. We do not see, store, or process your payment information.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Refunds are governed by Apple's policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where permitted by applicable law.
Use the app in ways that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our systems or interfere with other users.
Use any automated means (bots, scrapers) to interact with the app or its associated content delivery network.
Misrepresent your identity, age, or intent in any way that could harm other users or us.

Streaks and game data

Streaks reset to zero if you miss a day. There is no manual restoration of streaks except through the in-app mechanisms (currently none in v1; "streak freeze" features may be added later as separately disclosed in-app purchases).
Each day's 20 words are deterministic and identical for every player worldwide. We do not personalize the daily set.
Practice Mode draws a fresh random sample from the bundle you select and does not affect your daily streak.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, code, content (including the curated word lists, translations, and category structure), and the "ArtikelStreak" name and logo are the intellectual property of Ozan Caglargil. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial use only. The German vocabulary itself is, of course, in the public domain — but our specific selection, structure, translations, and presentation are not.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will improve any specific learning outcome. ArtikelStreak is a study aid, not a substitute for formal language instruction.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Ozan Caglargil (ooidist) be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the app is limited to the amount you paid for your most recent subscription period.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you materially breach these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country grants you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or via this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means acceptance of the updated terms.
