Common questions

How is my age counted?

In whole days, from your birth date to today in your phone's time zone. The day you were born is day 0. A card shows someone famous who was exactly that many days old on the day of the event.

Why is there no card today?

Sometimes nobody famous was exactly your age in days on a day we could check, and the app never borrows a card from a nearby day. Cards currently cover ages from about 21 to 58; more ages come with updates.

A card is wrong

Tap This is wrong under the card and pick a reason. We check every report against the card's source. You can also email us.

How do I add the widget?

Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit (or +), then Add Widget, and pick As Old As. The widget is free and turns to a new card at midnight.

My daily notification didn't arrive

Check Settings → Notifications → As Old As on your phone and make sure notifications are allowed. The app schedules two weeks of notifications at a time, so open it now and then to keep them coming.

How do I restore Pro on a new phone?

How do I cancel the yearly plan?

Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your phone, choose As Old As and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the year you paid for. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the As Old As purchase and request a refund.
