Schrödinger's Window · iOS · Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy explains what the Schrödinger's Window app ("the app", "we", "us") does with data. The app is published by Ozan Caglargil ("ooidist"). If anything here is unclear, write to the address at the bottom.
Summary
- Nothing leaves your phone. The app never connects to the internet, so it sends no data to us or to anyone else.
- There is no account. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- The app has no analytics, advertising or tracking code. It does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.
What the app uses on your phone
- A world of your own. Each world grows from a number the app works out on your phone, from your device's app identifier and the moment you open the app. That number only decides how the world looks. It never leaves your phone.
- Picking up where you left off. If you come back within half a minute, the same world carries on. For that, the app keeps the world's number, your screen size and how far the world has run in its own settings on your phone.
- Your local time. The world follows your phone's clock, so it gets dark when it is evening where you are. The time is read on the phone and not sent anywhere.
- Music. The music is composed on your phone as you watch. There are no sound files to download and nothing is recorded.
Deleting the app removes everything it kept.

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change ships.
