Common questions

What am I looking at?

A tiny construction world that runs on its own. Nothing is a recording: the machines take jobs from a job board and decide what to do next. Cranes build, a wrecking ball takes buildings down, loaders and trucks carry the rubble away, a grader levels the ground, and a new site opens somewhere else. The foreman wanders between them.

What can I do with it?

Why is my world different every time?

Every time you open the app, a new world is built just for you, and it only exists while you're looking. If you come back within half a minute, the same world carries on where it was.

Why is it dark?

The world follows your phone's clock: sunrise, day, sunset and night, with lights in the windows and headlights on the road after dark.

How do I turn the music off?

The music is composed on your phone as you watch, and it follows your phone's silent switch. Flip the switch, or turn the volume down. It also plays alongside your own music, and stops when you leave the app.

Does it use a lot of battery?

While it's open, it draws a live 3D world, so it uses more power than a still screen, a bit like a game. It stops drawing as soon as you leave the app.
